The english company INDEPENDENT RESOURCES PLC plans to take advantage of a large underground reservoir, whose middle point is located in the little town of Rivara (Modena, Italy).

This project involves not only the town of Rivara, but an underground area of 117 squared KM in a very populated region of northern Italy, and it introduces various possibilities of risk for citizens' health.
